ABOUT THE JAN FOUNDATION
The JAN Foundation was established as a platform to support those who are most vulnerable in our communities, and to inspire change and social upliftment.
MISSION
To support humanitarian organisations dedicated to uplifting vulnerable elderly individuals by fostering meaningful partnerships and raising awareness that inspires action toward our shared vision.
OBJECTIVES
The JAN Foundation is committed to creating positive change in the lives of vulnerable individuals by securing financial support through donations, grants and fundraising events, and is dedicated to transparent reporting on financial activities and impact to the public and stakeholders.
To ensure long-term sustainability we will focus on diversifying funding sources, building strong donor relationships and managing resources effectively.
The directors of The JAN Foundation will uphold high ethical standards in both their personal and professional lives. This includes honesty, fairness and accountability in all their actions.
OUR WORK
SAVF EVANNA OLD AGE HOME
Jan Hendrik hands over proof of payment of R 95,000 to Mr. Koos Geldenhuys, the chairman of SAVF Evanna Old Age Home’s board.
The JAN Foundation is proud to share its first project in partnership with SAVF Evanna Old Age Home, selected as the inaugural beneficiary through a heartfelt commitment to supporting elderly communities.
A special fundraising event raised R95,000 for SAVF Evanna Old Age Home, which has faithfully served its community for over 50 years, providing warmth, comfort and a sense of dignity to the elderly community.
Proceeds from the project will be used to provide essential items for 17 elderly individuals recently transferred to Evanna Old Age Home from a home in Klerksdorp, which was closed by the Department of Social Welfare due to unfit living conditions.
This project reflects our commitment to compassionate action and sustainable impact, with a strategy rooted in hands-on collaboration and targeted support for those who need it.
